If you are interested in completing an internship with the East Haven Police Department, please submit your resume with a cover letter via
e-mail to professionalstandards@easthavenpolice.com, with the subject line of Internship Request, and include the following information:
– Your goals/what you hope to learn/achieve by completing an internship with the East Haven Police Department
– What type of work you are seeking upon graduation
– Your contact information including name, e-mail address and a phone number
– Your schedule/availability to attend an interview
– Which university/college you attend, what year student you are, your GPA, and your major
– Your cover letter should include why you have chosen the East Haven Police Department
– Incomplete submissions will NOT be considered
– Your request must be submitted via e-mail
NOTE: Ride-alongs are only allowed for students involved in active internships with the East Haven Police Department or for students of our Citizens Police Academy (when in session).
